The
Case Of Adultery
Against
Mary Magdalene
By
The Twelve Apostles
The Woman Caught In Adultery
But in the morning when
the sun had scarcely risen, Jesus came again, and many people came to see Him in
the temple courts, and He sat down and taught the multitudes. The
Pharisees and scribes were still alert to find a cause whereby they might
condemn Him by the words He spoke.
The officers had taken in the very act of crime, a courtesan. As Jesus taught,
they brought this woman and set her in the midst and said, “Rabboni (teacher), this vile woman has been taken in
adultery. The law of Moses says that such as she shall
die, be stoned to death; what do you say should be her punishment?”
And Jesus stooped and made a figure on the ground and in it placed
a soul, and then He sat in silent thought. And when the priests
demanded that He speak, He said, “Let him who has no sin stand forth and be the
first to cast a stone at her.”
And then He closed His eyes, and not a word was said. When He arose and saw the
woman all alone He said,. “Where
are the men who brought you here? They who accused?”
The woman said, “They all are gone; no one was here who could condemn.”
And Jesus said, “And I condemn you not; go on your way in peace, and sin no
more.”
After the days of the Feast Of
Tabernacles, during which Jesus made known that He is the bread of life, the
multitudes went to their various homes, but Jesus went to the Mount of
Olives. Early in the morning He came
again to the temple; all the people came to Him, and He sat down and taught
them.
The Scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman
who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to Him,
“Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law Moses commanded us to stone
such. What do you say about her?” This
they said to test Him, that they might have some
charge to bring against Him. Jesus bent down and wrote with His finger on the
ground. And as they continued to ask
Him, he stood up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the
first to throw a stone at her.” And once
more He bent down and wrote with His finger on the ground. But when they heard it, they went away, one
by one, beginning with the eldest, and Jesus was left alone with the woman
standing before Him. Jesus looked up and
said to her, “Woman, where are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said,
“Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again.” John 8:1-11
This Mary
was from the city of Magdala, and therefore, was called
Mary Magdalene.
Judgment Of Mary Magdalene
Apostle Matthew: The first time Jesus wrote on the ground, He
wrote Mary Magdalene.
Why did
Jesus write Mary Magdalene first?
The Head: It was because the case was about Mary
Magdalene. At that time, the Angels brought down her file from heaven.
Apostle Matthew: The second time, Jesus wrote down the names of
all the Pharisees and Sadducees and all the people that wanted to stone her to
death.
Why did
Jesus write their names?
The Head: They brought a case to Him, so all of them
shall be judged to know whether what they are saying is true or false.
Apostle Matthew: The third time, Jesus wrote the names of the
various evil spirits.
Why did Jesus wrote the names of all of the evil spirits?
The Head: It was because all of them, Mary Magdalene and
the accusers, needed to be delivered.
Apostle Matthew: That was where the judgment started.
The Head: Thanks be to God.
Apostle Matthew: Do you know that a person is judged here on
earth?
The Head: It is true.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, that was
when judgment started.
Number 1 is
that Mary Magdalene committed adultery.
But do you
know how many times she did so?
The Head: It was not mentioned in the bible.
Apostle Matthew: She was caught on that one occasion.
If somebody
were caught in adultery what shall be done to the person?
The Head: All the incidences shall be judged to know
whether the person shall be saved or not.
Apostle Matthew: Number 1 is the judgment of Mary Magdalene, it
was not once that she committed adultery. But Jesus knew all the occurrences.
The Head: Yes.
Apostle Matthew: Jesus knew all the occurrences that were
recorded in her own file.
On the
second time, Jesus wrote down all the accusers and all the bad things that they
were doing.
The Head: Yes.
Apostle Matthew: Were they not married?
The Head: They were married.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, did they not begot children?
The Head: They begot children.
Apostle Matthew: Then, why are they bringing Mary Magdalene to
judgment?
The Head: They were doing so, according to their own
wisdom and according to the leadership of men as at that time, and by the
righteousness of man, because they were using the righteousness of man in
judging, leaving out the righteousness of God.
Apostle Matthew: Mary Magdalene and the evil spirits came to the
judgment.
Why did the
evil spirits come to the judgment?
The Head: The evil spirits wanted to win the case and
drag Mary Magdalene to hell fire.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, have you seen that what Jesus did
was right?
The Head: But, in the eyes of the Pharisees and
Sadducees, according to their understanding…
Apostle Matthew: Ourselves there, The Twelve Apostles, there
was nothing that we understood, and there was nothing that we … knew. But, we
knew that something special happened on that day.
The Head: It is true.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, do you see that walking in spirit
is necessary?
The Head: Yes.
Explanation
If The
Twelve Apostles understood nothing on that day, how come that Apostle Matthew
is now narrating what happened?
The Twelve
Apostles learnt many things after the Holy Spirit came upon them on the
Pentecost Day. Also, they understood many things after they entered heaven. All
the above explanations were being given by The Twelve Apostles, here in
DivineBase Ministry. Apostle Matthew was speaking as the spokesman, as at the
time these explanations were being given.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, the bible authors said that Jesus
wrote on the ground, two times only. According to the bible, the first time,
Jesus asked the crowd, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to
throw a stone at her.” John 8:7
That was
not the first time. That was the second time. Then, the third time, Jesus wrote
the names of the evil spirits.
In the
first one, Jesus judged Mary Magdalene and held the judgment in spirit. Jesus
deleted her name from the Book Of Death and wrote it
in the Book Of Repentance. And then, Jesus judged the Pharisees.
Apostle Matthew: What saved the Pharisees?
The Head: What saved them was that they went away,
dispersed, one by one. If they had not dispersed, their names would have been
written in the Book Of Death.
Apostle Matthew: When a person is being judged, what saves the
person?
The Head: One is truth. The second one is if the person
were quick to withdraw the case – the Pharisees and Sadducees withdrew the case
and from the case by leaving the judgment, one by one.
Apostle Matthew: When Jesus was judging the agents of darkness,
why … should the evil spirits be in the judgment?
The Head: Lord, let us know, because it is the agents of
darkness that deceive people into doing what is wrong. Themselves
are guilty. They are not supposed to be in the judgment.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, themselves are in judgment.
The Head: They stand in judgment. But, they should not
stand in judgment, because it is themselves that go and deceive people. After
misleading people, themselves are quick, they are the
first to go and report to God Almighty.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, …
Nkechi: They are not supposed to appear before the
Jesus, because they are guilty, because they mislead people, and then turn
round to report and judge.
Apostle Matthew: It is not true – they should be in the
judgment, because they have to present a file, the record of the sins committed
by the accused.
Reasons For Judgment
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, why did they bring Mary Magdalene
before Jesus?
Who were
the people that brought her to Jesus?
The Head: It was the Israelites or the Pharisees and
Sadducees.
Apostle Matthew: Why did they bring her to Jesus?
The Head: They wanted to tempt Jesus, by His responses on
the case, so that they can accuse Jesus of breaking the law.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, yourself answered correctly. They
did not bring Mary Magdalene because of righteousness. It was a temptation. It
was a temptation. They wanted to know what Jesus would say, whether Jesus would
say what is good or what is bad. The major point why they brought Mary
Magdalene to Jesus, was not for Jesus to say what should be done. They expected
Jesus to say what themselves wanted.
The Head: Jesus made it clear that stoning her was not
the solution. The important thing was to make her repent... If they stoned her
to death, she would reincarnate and the same marine possession, spirit of
adultery, will start manifesting in her life again, if deliverance was not
performed on her.
Who?
The Head: Mary Magdalene.
Apostle Matthew: Is it deliverance by prayer or what?
The Head: There are deliverances of various types. There
is deliverance by prayer, by advice, by warning, by flogging and by spiritual
works.
Apostle Matthew: What condition…?
Number 1,
Jesus performed deliverance by mercy. Mary Magdalene knew that she was at the
point of death. The mercy extended to her made her have the spirit of
repentance. If you are warning somebody against doing something, and he does
that, when he is at the point of death because of what he has done and should
be killed, if you eventually set the person free, it will be very hard for the
person to try the same offence again.
First
Number Of Times Of
Writing
Apostle Matthew: Myself want to ask you congregation.
It was
reported that Jesus was writing with His finger on the ground?
The Head: Yes.
Apostle Matthew: Who would explain what that meant?
The Head: St Paul De Evangelist explained it. He said
that Jesus was writing the names of the people who brought Mary Magdalene to
Jesus. Jesus was writing each person’s name and the person he or she had
committed adultery in the past with. Therefore, the people dismissed
themselves, one by one.
Apostle Matthew: How many times did Jesus write on the ground?
The Head: The first writing was mentioned, and later the
second writing was mentioned.
Apostle Matthew: Is it complete?
The Head: When Jesus wrote down, it does not mean once.
He bent down and wrote several times. And later, He bent down and wrote again.
So, how
many times did Jesus wrote on the ground?
…
The Head: Let the Lord make us to know, because the
people who were there are not here present. They may not remember again what
happened on that day.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, the record is not complete. Jesus
wrote on the ground three times.
The Head: Thanks be to God.
Why Evil Spirits Come To Judgment
Apostle Matthew: Why did the evil spirits come to the judgment?
The Head: Why they came to judgment? They came, so that
if the accused if found guilty, they will drag away the person into the hell
fire.
Apostle Matthew: Why do you say that they should not come to
judgment?
The Head: Why they should not come to judgment?
I mean that
they should not be there saying that somebody committed a sin.
Apostle Matthew: They were looking for customers, and they saw a
place where judgment was being held. That was an opportunity. And you are
saying that they should not come to the judgment…
All the
sins a person has committed are recorded in the book of the evil spirits. And
all the good things that a person has done are recorded in God’s book. That is
why at judgment, the evil spirits present their files, and the Angels of God
shall present their one files from heaven.
Number 1
aim is to convert, win souls, because it is souls that the evil spirits want.
Number 2,
for themselves to become winners. Because God the Father created themselves.
They shall … not have victory. Therefore, they are striving to overcome. The
evil spirits are victorious over the disobedient people, the unrepentant
sinners…
Apostle Matthew: What did the evil spirits do?
The Head: When they saw that Jesus had used His blood to
save Mary Magdalene, they became weak, defeated.
Apostle Matthew: All the accusers, where did they go to?
The Head: Before the judgment, they came from various
places. And after the judgment, everybody went back to the place he came from
or to the work that he was doing.
Wisdom In Bowing Down
To God
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, the training to be given to the
children of God are many. Among the first, the second group and the third
group, who were most obedient?
…
Mary
Magdalene was the first to be judged. The second group were the Pharisees and
Sadducees. And then, the third group, the evil spirits were judged.
Apostle Matthew: Who among the three sets were the wisest?
The wisest
group were the evil spirits. The second best was Mary Magdalene. The last were
the Pharisees and Sadducees. The reason was that after the judgment, the evil
spirits went into the spirit and saw how things went – the saw all proceedings
of the judgment - and themselves bowed down to God Almighty. The Pharisees and
Sadducees did not understand anything. They did not know anything. They just
meandered away, one by one. And there was no lesson themselves learnt from the
incident. Mary Magdalene herself understood what happened, and she saw what
happened. But herself did not bow down to God.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, that is why the Angels that come in
the midst of humanity do tell you children of God to bow down to God the
Father.
Son of man,
you children of God do not understand the meaning of bowing down to God the
Father in heaven.
The Head: Let the Lord make us to understand more than we
already know.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, number 1, when you bow down to God,
it is very important. That is one. Son of man, if you give something to
somebody, what do you expect?
The Head: The person supposed to give thanks, to show
appreciation for what has being done for him, to show that what was done for
him is pleasing to himself.
Apostle Matthew: The evil spirits bowed down to God to show that
Jesus delivered a righteous, just, judgment. They know what is good and what is
wrong. Themselves were fighting for the wrong to win.
If the children of God were not watchful, the evil spirits would win. Son of man, that was why they bowed down to God the Father.
The Head: Thanks be to God.
Apostle Matthew: Number 2, another point, is that the Pharisees
and Sadducees should have done what Mary Magdalene and the evil spirits did –
they should have bowed down to God or learnt lesson as Mary Magdalene did. But
they did not do so. It showed that they have not yet grown in spirit. They have
not grown to the level of seeing God face to face.
Son of man,
the Pharisees and Sadducees, themselves, are they good examples?
The Head: No.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, number 3, bowing
down to God is very important, because it pleases God Almighty. When you bow
down to God Almighty, all your problems and burdens are laid down before God.
It shows that God the Father, only Him, knows all things. By so doing, you are
saying to God, “Yourself knows my going out and my
coming in.”
Son of man,
bowing down also means that whatever God does is good and righteous. That is
what it means. That is point number 4.
Reasons For The
Judgment
The scribes and the Pharisees brought a woman
who had been caught in adultery, and placing her in the midst they said to him,
“Teacher, this woman has been caught in the act of adultery. Now in the law
Moses commanded us to stone such. What do you say about her?” This they said to
test him, that they might have some charge to bring
against him. John 8:3-6
Apostle Matthew: Themselves did not bring the case to Jesus,
because Jesus is the Most High God. They brought the case out of ticklishness.
They wanted to know what Jesus would say. To trap Jesus.
In the
first writing, Jesus judged the case of Mary Magdalene in spirit and deleted her
name from the book of death and wrote it in the book of repentance.
Son of man,
they did not bring the case to Jesus because Jesus is the FirstSon of God. Themselves brought the case just to know what Jesus would
say. It was not because Jesus is the greatest. It was in ticklishness that they
brought the case to Jesus.
The Importance Of
Coming Close To Jesus
Apostle Matthew: When the evil spirits and Pharisees had gone
away, only Jesus and Mary Magdalene were left there.
Apostle Matthew: Why were only Jesus and Mary Magdalene left
there?
The Head: The accusers have all gone.
Apostle Matthew: What does that mean?
The Head: It showed that salvation has come. If Mary
Magdalene were not wise, she would have gone when the others were leaving.
Again, at that time she was standing there before Jesus, the power of the Holy
Spirit was entering her body.
Apostle Matthew: Son of man, yourself answered very well.
Son of man,
another thing it shows is that everybody in this world should be making efforts
to come close to Jesus. Somebody like Mary Magdalene was staying with Jesus. It
shows that there is no children of God that cannot stay with Jesus. Son of man,
if the children of God can know what God has done for them, themselves shall be
bowing down to God, always.
The Head: Yes.
Apostle Matthew: Themselves should be quick to listen and to do
all that God the Father tells them. But themselves are
ignorant. They do not know that at the time they are committing sins, and after
committing sins, and they repent and come close to Jesus. It is when they
repent and follow Jesus, that is the time the Angels
wipe away, delete, all their sins.
Present At The
Judgment
Jesus looked up and said to her, “Woman, where
are they? Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said,
“Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again.” John 8:10-11
Son of man,
the judgment of Jesus on this world, over humanity, is that when Jesus is
judging one person, the Angels are there present. God the Father, God the
FirstSon and God the Holy Spirit are there present. And the evil spirits are
there present. That was why Jesus was asking Mary Magdalene, “Has any one
condemned you? The heaven has not condemned you and the earth has not condemned
you.”
Son of man,
is that a thing for great rejoicing or not?
The Head: It is a thing of great joy, because salvation
has been obtained.
Very Important Points
1.
Killing
many Magdalene would not have solved the problem of her committing adultery.
All that was necessary was deliverances from the seven demons that possessed
her. Jesus performed the deliverance and Mary Magdalene became a saint.
2.
If the
people had killed Mary Magdalene, she will reincarnate in the future with the
same problem still repeating.
3.
Do not be
quick to condemn people or sentence them to prison terms, which eventually
worsen the situations.
4.
Look for
simple and friendly solutions that are permanent. For example, a police man was
called to come and arrest a woman who stole five eggs. The police officer came
and interviewed the woman, and found out that the woman was looking for
something to feed her children. He left everything about the law, and told the
woman to collect as many things as she needed from the supermarket. The police
man paid for the materials and left the woman to go home. Why are so many
people not as wise as this police officer?
5.
What the
human eye sees is quite different, and may be contradictory, to what the
spiritual eye sees.
6.
Always
apply wisdom, caution and considerations.
